THIRTIETH ANNIVERSARY BOTTLING... Our goal for the "Nuits-Blanches au Bouge"; is to capture a rich, concentrated fruit entry, creamy texture, leesy complexity, and still maintain a bright acidity, focused finish, and bitterness free persistence. 2010 was an amazing vintage and this wine a shining example. The Nuits-Blanches was barrel fermented in 60% new French, François Freres, oak barrels, slowly developed for 18 months with one racking after 12 months. The wine went through 100% malo-lactic fermentation, and was bottled unfiltered. It has lovely marzipan, oat, cream, pear, and toasted notes with freshness and fabulous, creamy texture. Absolutely beautiful.
